As modern technology has progressed, society has also started to use music as therapy for all different ages.
Many diseases like measles continue to affect communities worldwide because of a lack of awareness and a lack of access to vaccines. By joining us for this workshop, you can become educated and become a part of making a difference by learning how the American Red Cross is leading the way. Many people with intellectual disabilities are seen differently and are believed to not be able to achieve the same things as others. However, in this presentation, we hope to prove that theory wrong by showing that many people who are viewed the same as others actually may have intellectual disabilities. Therefore, anyone with an intellectual disability can be just as successful as someone without one, proving that they should not be viewed as less.

In this presentation, we will cover the importance of languages, especially how the french language connects individuals together throughout their communities. Through our presentation and activities, students will be able to have a better understanding of the different francophone countries and embrace culture through the French language.
In impoverished areas such as the Gambia their is a wide gap in educational oppurtunies and access between girls and boys. An important step to fostering change is educating. We want to educate others on this issue, and how The Starfish Organization works to assist young-women in the Gambia

This workshop will explore the consequences of a data-based decision maker in a world of systemic inequality and bias. Participants will compete in a game of puzzles to obtain data sets, use this data to design their own AI decision making system, and test the systems with new data to discover its intrinsic biases. Prizes will be awarded throughout, and candy will be provided!
In this workshop, we will identify the four stages of intimite partner violence and abuse, and learn the differences between them. We will go over each stage, and use group interactive activites to learn about this topic. Throughout this workshop, students will have the opportunity to learn about resources that are available to everyone who may be in an unhealthy relationship. We hope that you will take away the main identifying factors of an unhealthy relationship, how to help yourself or a friend leave one, and how to advocate or prevent unhealthy relationships.

Our presentation will inform students about the effects of loneliness on the social and emotional health of seniors living in assisted living homes. This issue effects around 40% of seniors living in assisted living homes and can shorten their life span. Through hands on activities, our presentation will help you learn about the dangers of loneliness, esspecially in senior citizens, and how to prevent it from happening.
