The use of artificial intelligence may soon become a major tool in every aspect of our lives… yet what does this really mean for our society? This workshop will explore the consequences of a data-based decision maker in a world of systemic inequality and bias. Participants will compete in a game of puzzles to obtain data sets, use this data to design their own AI decision making system, and test the systems with new data to discover its intrinsic biases. Prizes will be awarded throughout, and candy will be provided!
